Mercy's Story

Gorgeous Mercy came to us from an overwhelming hoarding situation. She is slowly learning to trust people and figure out that the world is safe. Mercy is pretty laidback for an Australian shepherd. She loves to run and play with other dogs, but has a great off switch. She loves zoomies and cuddles equally.

Mercy is about 2 1/2 years old. She is potty trained, trustworthy in the house, quiet in her crate, and good on a leash. She's very intelligent and observant. She sadly doesn't play with toys yet but shows signs that she's ready to have fun. She would probably be great at dog sports which certainly could help her build confidence.

Mercy is looking for a quiet home without small children (she's not sure what to make of them). She'd love someone active who has herding dog experience. Because she adores other dogs so much, she will need a place with a friendly, dog buddy. Mercy absolutely requires a tall, secure fence to keep her safe.

Sweet Mercy is being fostered in the St. Louis area

Please fill out an application at: https://www.speakrescue.com/pre-adoption-form
