Hello- my name is Maya! I was found in a very crowded parking area trying to not get hurt. I was so very scared and all alone...but, thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue heard about me and I came to stay with them. They made sure I received all of the medical and general care I needed so I could start looking for my own furever family.<br/>I am estimated at almost 6 months old and appear to be a Dogo/American Bulldog mix- best guess? I am an energetic puppy and would love to have a family as active as me. I love to play and chase my toys. I will need some help with my leash and potty training- but I promise to be the bestest girl I can!<br/><br/>My $350 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and spay. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
