Maxwell is a 2-year-old, 15 lb Shih Tzu mix with a sweet and gentle soul. He can be a little shy when first meeting someone, but he warms up quickly—especially when yummy treats are involved!<br/><br/>Maxwell came to us terribly matted and, sadly, had become somewhat of an afterthought in his previous home. Those days are behind him now. He’s sporting a fresh new haircut, getting all the love and care he deserves, and looking forward to finding an amazing forever family of his own.<br/><br/>Maxwell would thrive in a quieter, lower-traffic home without a lot of people coming and going, where he can take his time settling in and getting comfortable.
