Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in.<br/><br/>Max is about 1-1/2 yrs old and weighs about47 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. <br/><br/>He is easy to leash and walks well on leash. He may be potty trained, but showed no evidence of any other training. He is tolerant with touch, able to pet head and entire body. He is jumpy <br/>and mouthy, he may not be good with small children. He likes toys, and engages in play with other dogs. He would do well with some training and routine exercise in order to become a well rounded dog.<br/>From his foster:<br/>About Max, maybe ... that he is house trained (he only had 2 accidents on Monday, we have a good routine for potty breaks but when he has an urgent call he will walk in small circles by the backyard door), he is great in the kennel (quiet at night and day naps), loves to play with other dogs, plays tugs, fetch (guilt trips me to fetch with him and to always go for walks - he will be walking around the house like he is on a 24h patrol shift), loves scratches, is ok with 5-10 min cuddles, curios, playful , jolly...and he needs naps to keep his energy balanced <br/><br/>I love him, he is a bundle of joy, curiosity and enthusiasm! <br/><br/>A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. <br/><br/>If you are interested in Max, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.<br/><br/>This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Max into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. <br/><br/>This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
