Meet Max
Meet Max, an 8-year-old Boxer mix with a sweet personality who is looking for his "furever" home. He is the active, playful "brother" of Brutus (chocolate lab listed separately).
What is Max looking for in his next home? Well, his needs are pretty simple. He would like to find someone who can spend quality time with him and give him love and attention. (That sounds easy.) He is an active/energetic dog who would enjoy going for daily walks. He also likes exploring his yard, playing with toys, and wrestling with his "brother" (Brutus). Oh, and snuggling.
He is good with dogs (but can be dominant), cats and kids of all ages. He does occasionally chase other dogs (if unsupervised). He also apparently can bark when left alone too long or when he is hungry. ("Feed me please!") Max knows some commands (sit, stay) and I bet this smart guy would enjoy learning more. Max is house-trained. In his previous home he (and Brutus) stayed in a garage during the day with access to the backyard and slept in the house at night.
Note: Max and Brutus have been living together a lot of years and would probably enjoy continuing to do so, but they do have a very different energy levels. We are listing them separately, but if you want to adopt both of these boys, just let us know on your application.
HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT Max? Email your question(s) through this listing and a volunteer with Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon will reply as soon as possible.
