Meet MAX!<br/><br/>Max is between 1-1.5 months old and 3.4 lbs as of October 15, 2026. We think he’s a Golden/Lab/shepherd mix! This is purely based on how he looks and how his mom looks! We know who his mom is. His mom is probably 35 lbs (we do not know his dad). Given how small he is now and his mom's size, we don't expect him to be a large dog.<br/><br/>Max is just the cutest little thing we have seen in a while! We love his coloring and sweet little face. Most importantly, he's a very sweet boy!<br/><br/>He is a typical happy, curious puppy who is learning about the world! He loves people, pets and cuddles!<br/><br/>He is currently being fostered in a home with many other dogs of varying sizes (several chihuahuas, a medium sized mix, and a pitbull mix) and is great with them all.<br/><br/>While he hasn't been around cats in our care, we know he'd have no problem with them given his young age. This is the perfect time to do introductions!<br/><br/>He is medically up to date and vaccinated for his age. He will be ready to go to his new home after 11/5/26.<br/><br/>Anyone that is interested in adopting Max is more than welcome to do a virtual call with him and his rescuer so you can see him virtually!<br/><br/>**PLEASE NOTE: Max is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to his forever home once adopted! Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, BOS, PHL, BWI, BDL, DCA, IAD, TPA, MCO, ORD and many more! The process is incredibly easy to get your dog over from Puerto Rico and we have done it thousands (not an exaggeration) of times!
