Maureen is a beautiful approximately 2-year-old Kelpie/Heeler mix weighing around 40–45lbs, and this girl is every bit as sweet as she looks!<br/><br/>Affectionately nicknamed “Maureen the Jellybean,” she is friendly, fun-loving, playful, and incredibly affectionate. She has that wonderful ability to match the energy around her — ready to head out for an adventure when you are, but just as happy to slow things down and soak up some love and snuggles.<br/><br/>Maureen is dog friendly and kid friendly and has shown nothing but sweetness toward the people she meets. She walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and loves to play. While she has not been formally tested with cats, she does show interest in chasing them. <br/><br/>At around 2 years old, Maureen still has plenty of playful, youthful spirit, but she also knows how to settle in and enjoy being close to her people. She really is one of those easy-to-love dogs who seems happy just being included in whatever you're doing.<br/><br/>Sadly, Maureen is currently at a tiny animal control facility in Ovilla, Texas, with only three kennels, which means space and time are extremely limited.
