Mason's Story

Mason is a 5-month-old catahoula leopard dog most likely mixed with a lab. He is about 60 lb and still growing. He is neutered, up to date on shots and house trained. Mason is a wonderful boy but would not do well in a crate. He prefers to sleep on the couch or in bed with his person.

His ideal home would have another dog for him to play with, a fenced yard (no apartments) and an owner who is active and will take him on many adventures.

He is very well behaved, super smart and listens really well and he can be taken anywhere. He is gentle around cats and children and just loves to play with other dogs. He will be your loyal guardian and best friend.

Since he is a puppy, it is required to enroll him in puppy obedience classes and provide him with plenty of treats, toys and things to chew on like bones, bully sticks and cow ears. He is doing really well training with positive reinforcement using treats. He has begun to learn fetch with a ball and enjoys going to the lake with the dogs in his foster home.

Mason will make a wonderful family dog as well as a devoted companion to his owner. He is very mellow and easy going and makes the cutest noises. Mason is just the perfect dog!

If you're interested in welcoming Mason into your family, please visit our website to submit a statement of interest.
