Meet Marty
Meet Marty! Marty is an itty bitty Chihuahua that is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. This sweet little guy has a big personality. He is full of cuddles and love. He has puppy energy and loves to play. He is a great companion who loves to be by your side. He's a big fan of head scratches and belly rubs! He might be a little hesitant with new people at first, but he does warm up quickly.
Marty is newly house trained, so does need to be let out frequently as he continues to master that skill. He's crate trained, although he doesn't need to be crated when someone is home, and walks well on a leash. He is very attached to his people and doesn't like to be away from them, so it would be ideal for him to have someone home with him most of the time. Marty hasn't been tested with other dogs yet but has given us no reason to believe he wouldn't get along well with others. He seems to love kids, but due to his small size and a bit of fearfulness, he would probably do best in a calm home with adults or older kids.
Marty is scheduled to be neutered on 11/18 so will not be officially ready for his new home until then. We are currently accepting applications for him.
An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.
