MARSHIE's Story
DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER LINK FOR INQUIRIES...AS SOMETIMES THEY ARE NEVER RECEIVED AND WILL NOT BE ANSWERED...INSTEAD...

If interested...and you meet the qualifications (such as quiet, adult home with fenced yard) we are requiring in a new home for MARSHIE...send an email to:

aboutrescuedogs@aol.com

explaining your family situation and why you think you would be a good fit for him. We also need your vet clinic information as well for a reference.

Adorable MARSHIE is a three year old, 12 pound Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix...according to his Wisdom Panel DNA test. His favorite thing in the world is his toy collection...and he will amuse himself for hours playing with them. MARSHIE does well with the other small breed dogs in his temporary home. Since he loves his outdoor time, a fenced yard is required for his enjoyment and safety. We are looking for a quiet adult home for MARSHIE as he can be shy when meeting new people. An active household with a lot of activity and young children would not be a good fit for him. We are committed to finding the right home for MARSHIE.

MARSHIE had bladder stones when he was surrendered to rescue. He will need to be on a prescription diet for life to prevent them from reoccurring. He is on Royal Canin Urinary SO at this time. His foster mom has found him to be housebroken as she is home with him during the day to allow him outside as needed.

Again...if interested in MARSHIE...send an email to;

aboutrescuedogs@aol.com

...with your name, address, and phone number and your vet reference to be checked. Please call your clinic to give permission for us to speak with them about your vet history.

His adoption fee is $500 and will include (all new) collar, leash, harness. toys, crate, prescription food...and more!

Thanks for wanting to "Rescue One!"
