Je suis une petite chienne de l'Indonésie, rescapée juste à temps d'un camion en route vers un abattoir pour le commerce de la viande de chien. Je suis une jolie femelle qui pèse environ 12 kg qui est âgée d'environ 4 ans. Je cherche une famille adoptive sans jeunes enfants (15+) ni autres animaux pour devenir VOTRE petite princesse !

J'ai vécu de graves traumatismes dans ma vie. Capturée, muselée de force avec une corde, attachée dans un sac sans pouvoir bouger, entassée dans un camion avec plus de 50 autres chiens, j'ai connu l'horreur. Certains humains ont été cruels envers moi et je demeure très craintive envers eux, c'est normal. Je cherche donc un foyer très compréhensif qui m'aidera à rebâtir ma confiance envers les gens, surtout les étrangers. Je fais déjà de beaux progrès au Centre de réhabilitation pour animaux de HSI/Canada et chaque jour, je démontre ma grande résilience. Je cherche un foyer qui comprendra qu'il me faudra quelques mois pour me sentir à mon aise avec mes nouveaux humains.

Je suis maintenant propre dans mon enclos, je connais mon nom et comment jouer avec des jouets. Pouvez-vous croire que tout ça était nouveau pour moi quand je suis arrivée ici? Je devrai avoir une famille patiente qui saura me montrer plein d'autres choses comme ce qu'est une laisse, un harnais (je n'ai pas connu cela dans mon ancienne vie), le rappel ou comment coopérer lors d'un examen vétérinaire également. Je dois apprendre aussi que les étrangers ne sont pas méchants, car mes traumatismes m'ont beaucoup marquée et avoir des humains qui comprennent bien que la force et la peur ne sont pas des méthodes d'éducation adéquates pour m'aider à m'épanouir.

Avez-vous l'expérience et la patience nécessaires pour m'aider avec tout ça et plus encore?

Je peux vivre avec des enfants de plus de 15 ans, car je suis encore craintive des mouvements brusques, des bruits forts ou des visiteurs, donc je cherche une vie avec des humains plus âgés et calmes.

J'ai une tendance à vouloir explorer, donc une cour clôturée est fortement recommandée, car je cherche parfois à fuguer.

J'ai un niveau d'énergie moyen, mais j'ai besoin d'assez de stimulations et d'activités par jour pour être épanouie. Je cherche quelqu'un qui va pouvoir dépenser mon énergie adéquatement, même si la marche en laisse ne sera pas possible au début pour moi. J'adore les jouets comme le kong wobbler pour manger mes repas en marchant dans la maison!

Je suis peu vocale, donc la vie en condo/appartement serait possible, si c'est bien insonorisé.

I'm a pretty 26lbs female who is about 4 years old. I'm looking for an adoptive family with no young children (15+) or other animals as I want to be YOUR little princess !

I have experienced severe trauma in my life. Captured, forcibly muzzled with a rope, tied in a bag so I couldn't move, crammed into a truck with 50+ other dogs, I have experienced horror. Some humans have been cruel to me and I'm still very afraid of them, which is normal. I'm looking for a very understanding family that will help me rebuild my trust in people, especially strangers. I'm already making good progress at the HSI/Canada Trauma Rehabilitation Centre and every day I'm showing my great resilience. I'm looking for people who understand that it will take me a few months to feel comfortable with my new humans.

I'm now housebroken in my pen, I know my name and how to play with toys. Can you believe that all of this was new to me when I got here? I'll need to have a patient family who will know how to show me lots of other things like what's a leash or a harness (I never knew those in my old life), recall, and how to cooperate during a vet exam. I also need to learn that strangers are not mean, as my traumas have had a profound impact on me, and to have humans who understand that force and fear are not adequate methods of education to help me thrive.

Do you have the experience and patience to help me with all this and more?

I can live with children over 15, as I'm still fearful of sudden movements, loud noises or visitors, so I'm looking for a life with older, calm humans.

I have a tendency to want to explore, so a fenced yard is highly recommended, as I sometimes try to run away.

I have an average energy level, but I need enough stimulation and activity every day to be fulfilled. I'm looking for someone who will be able to expend my energy appropriately, although leash walking won't be possible for me at first. I love toys like the kong wobbler to eat my meals while walking around the house!

I'm not very vocal, so condo/apartment living would be possible, provided it's well soundproofed.
