Maggie Moo's Story

** This is an Out Of Town listing. We transport to the city on this listing. Please apply at www.bit.ly/mu-adopt **

Meet Maggie Moo — a 9 year old beagle/basset hound mix whose wiggly little trot and soulful eyes will melt your heart before she even reaches you. At around 30 pounds, Maggie is the perfect size for someone looking for a whole lot of sweetness wrapped up in a low-key, lovable package.

Maggie Moo believes life is best enjoyed slowly. Her favorite hobbies are simple: cozy naps, leisurely sniffing adventures, and searching for hidden treasures (leaves, interesting smells, and all the little mysteries the world has to offer). She has the most adorable hound bark that is guaranteed to make you smile — because every good hound deserves a voice!

This sweet senior girl is housebroken, kennel trained, dog friendly, and even respectful around cats. While Maggie can be shy when meeting new people, she is incredibly gentle and warms up beautifully once she knows she is safe. New places can make her nervous at first, but give her a little time, patience, and reassurance, and you'll see her sweet personality shine through.

Maggie would love a quieter adult home where she can enjoy a peaceful routine, cozy naps, and the comfort of people who understand that some of the best dogs aren't the ones who demand attention. Maggie is not looking to be the life of the party, and she'll happily admit she's not a social butterfly. She's more of a find the comfiest bed and enjoy a peaceful afternoon together kind of girl. A fenced yard where she can leisurely sniff around and a few short strolls are all the adventure she needs. Like many older pups, Maggie has some arthritis and takes medication to help keep her comfortable.

If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing best friend to share your quiet moments and golden years with, Maggie Moo might be exactly the dog you've been waiting for. Apply at the link below!
__________

HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT:

Start by filling out our online application at www.bit.ly/mu-adopt

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

**NOTE: Completed applications take priority over Petfinder inquiries or emails.

LOCATION:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. The local adoption fee for pick up in Gulfport, MS is $75. If you want the dog transported to New Orleans or Pensacola the total fee is $100.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
