Maggie's Story

Greetings, kind person. Please call me Maggie, or even Maggie Mae (thanks, Rod Stewart. I truly feel seen.) Actually, call me whatever you like, but please, do call me! I'm a distinguished 8-year-old female, a mellow mix of Rottweiler/English Bulldog, and I'm looking for a place to lay my grey and white head. Stopped dying my fur long ago, you see. Now, as a “lady of a certain age,” I simply let my soul shine.

Love people, love dogs, love to finally find my one and only. I know you just met me, but I'd like to be your new best friend.

I'm gentle and grateful. Take treats like I can't believe they're for me, and I do enjoy my new foster brother. Perhaps you have fur and non-fur babies in your home? Nothing would make me happier.

In my past life, I was potty-trained, so I pride myself on preserving that tradition. They say I'm exceptionally sweet –gosh– and I'm quite easy to please. A little sun, some quality sniffs, and plenty of time to smile at others/take naps. If you're looking for an amiable gal who just wants to be in your orbit, I daresay you've found me. Looking forward to meeting your acquaintance, hopefully for life.

With sincere hopes for happily ever after,

Maggie

********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN**********

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application.
