Maggie is Adopted

Maggie is currently fostered in Rossford Ohio, and her adoption fee/donation is $200

Maggie is an 8 yr old female cock-a-poo that came to our rescue from a shelter, where she as facing euthanasia.
She was surrendered to the shelter by her owner due to issues with resource guarding in the home.

Here is a description of Maggie from her foster mom.

Maggie is in general a great dog, other than her resource guarding of random items...socks, shoes, remote controls, hats.
She does not guard food or dog toys...however, she should not be with a family with young children!
Her guarding issues are a challenge, we have tried trading the item for food, but that hasn't worked.
She needs an adopter that is capable of working with her to overcome this issue.

Maggie is not destructive...we are able to leave her in the house while we are gone with no problems.
She is good with Reggie, but is not interested in playing with him...and can get a little grumpy if he gets in her space or if he's overly excited and in her space.
She does well on a leash and is house trained.
She loves car rides...and loves to stick her face in the "blowy vents"!
She also loves belly rubs!
She is really a fun loving little dog much of the time, just NOT when she is resource guarding.

Maggie will ONLY be adopted to an experienced dog owner, that is able/willing to work with her on the resource guarding issue.

Maggie is already spayed and will be up to date on her vaccines prior to adoption.

We do not ship dogs.Pet needs to be picked up at foster home.In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
