She was rescued while very pregnant and injured, likely from being hit by a car. Despite being weak and anemic, she bravely carried on and, under veterinary care, delivered four healthy puppies. Her little ones are now 10 weeks old and will soon be ready for adoption—just like their amazing mom.<br/><br/>Maggi herself is a gentle, mellow soul with mid-level energy. She enjoys daily walks, is potty and leash trained, and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for cuddle time and a movie. She’s clean, smart, and protective of her home.<br/><br/>She gets along with other dogs but prefers to take her time warming up—she’ll avoid them until she feels safe. Maggi is not suited for homes with cats and would do best with children ages 8 and up.<br/><br/>Currently thriving in foster care, Maggi is ready to find a forever family who will cherish her sweet nature and give her the safe, loving home she deserves.<br/><br/>Maggi is with a small local rescue that we help by posting here on Petfinder. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.<br/><br/>The first step is to submit an application on our website here: https://www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt<br/><br/>Once we receive your application, we will review it and may contact you for more information or to conduct a home check. If your application is approved and the dog is located in Mexico, we will collaborate with flight companions (flight angels) flying from Puerto Vallarta to destinations close to where the dog is posted as available. Adopters can meet these flight angels at the airport and take the pup home. (We can provide more detailed information about this process to adopters upon request.)
