She's a professional snuggle expert with a heart of gold, a head full of silliness, and an endless supply of love for anyone lucky enough to meet her.

House & Crate Trained Superstar

Maddie has impeccable manners at home and is a responsible young lady who knows where to potty and how to relax in her crate like the composed queen she is... unless she sees a squirrel. Then all bets are off.

Social Butterfly (With the Right Friends!)

She's currently living with four dogs and gets along great with her housemates! While she can be a little selective about new dog friends outside her inner circle, with thoughtful introductions, she makes a fantastic companion. People? She lives for them-she'll happily follow you from room to room as your emotional support shadow.

Goofy Play Buddy + Snuggle Champion

Maddie loves walks & hiking, playtime, and doing whatever goofy thing pops into her head... and then she'll curl up right next to you (or on you, if allowed) for maximum snuggle impact. She's the ideal companion for anyone looking for a playful best friend who also doubles as a living, breathing weighted blanket .

Hugs & Kisses Professional

She gives big warm hugs, gentle kisses, and loves to lean into you like she's trying to fuse your souls together.

On-Leash Excitement

Maddie can get pretty vocal when passing other dogs on walks. She's a smart cookie who is ready to learn, but she needs an adopter who is excited to put in the time, patience, and positive-reinforcement training to help her shine!

Maddie's Dream Home

A fenced-in yard is a must - not only so she can stretch those long Shepherd legs, but also because her ongoing feud with squirrels is intense and requires secure borders. She's also an enthusiastic explorer and needs a yard enclosed by a fence at least 6 feet tall to keep her adventures safe and contained.

Maddie would love a quiet and peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved .

Why You'll Love Her

Maddie is sweet, playful, loyal, and just the right amount of ridiculous. She's the perfect mix of fun and affection, and she can't wait to become someone's best friend, walking buddy, and designated couch snuggler.

Ready to meet Maddie?
She's ready to meet you - and possibly steal your heart (and your spot on the couch)!

Click through the pictures up top to see videos of Maddie playing in her foster home or go to Maddie's foster family's YouTube page! http://www.youtube.com/@OPHfosters8877
