Mac

This handsome guy came to us as a stray. Hard to imagine that no one was looking for him! Like most Anatolian Shepherds, Mac is loyal and gentle.
He's a smart, independent guy, aware of all that is going on around him and quick to learn the routine and advance his skills. He's always up for a challenge and would love a job to do. This noy is not a couch potato. He'll need to be mentally and physically challenged or he's likely to come up with his owns ways to entertain himself which you may not find so amusing. But, if he's got a important job to do, Mac is on it!

We sense that in his short year and a half or so of life, he hasn't had the opportunity to see a lot of the world. So, he welcomes the opportunity to share all that the world has to offer and is ready to explore it all. If you love outdoor adventure, or need help with farm or vineyard chores, Mac is your guy!
He's learning how to play well with others so if you have another canine companion we'd suggest a meet and greet. He'd love a home with experienced adults or one with older children and will be a wonderful, loyal companion. With structure and guidance Mac promises to be one amazing canine companion!

The adoption fee for adult dogs is $225. All have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, DH(L)PP, have had a complete fecal analysis, treated for internal and external parasites, are heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative and are microchipped. Stop in on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10- 1, Saturdays from 10 - 4, Sundays from 2-5 without an appointment or call us at 607-594-2255 to schedule an appointment. Or, visit our website www.schuylerhumane.org to fill out an adoption application to get the process started.
