Mabel 2050's Story

Meet Mabel — a sweet, calm, and loving 1-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with a gentle soul and a playful side. Mabel is low energy overall, but she enjoys playing with her toys, cuddling close to her human, and soaking up all the tummy rubs she can get.
Mabel can be a little shy when meeting new people and may bark at first because she was not well socialized early on. The good news is she’s already making wonderful progress with patience and positive experiences. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality really shines. Mabel will need a experienced owner.
She gets along with other dogs, but Mabel forms a very strong bond with her person and prefers to be close by most of the time. She would thrive in a calm, low-energy home where she can feel safe and secure. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home while still enjoying occasional time with familiar family dogs.
Mabel enjoys going on walks and exploring the world, although she still barks at dogs she sees along the way. With continued training and confidence-building, she should continue to improve. Because she is curious and quick, Mabel will need a very secure yard and careful attention around open doors.
Mabel is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping her build confidence while giving her the affection and security she craves. In return, she’ll be a loyal little companion who will happily stay close by your side.
