Meet Luna Momma Daydream, an approx. 1-year-old Boxer / Bulldog mix, weighing 47 pounds (as of 7/27/26). Luna Momma was rescued while very pregnant in Tennessee, but she made her trip north, and began delivering her beautiful puppies just 2 days after reaching the kennel! This girl is ready to be pampered like it's Mother's Day!<br/><br/>Even though she didn't get a chance to settle in and get to know her surroundings before welcoming puppies, Luna Momma has proven to be an absolute love. She loves to play and stashes all the toys she can find like an adorable pirate (except for when she's happily bringing them to you for tug-of-war). She also gets along great with other dogs. Luna seems to be interested in cats and guinea pigs, but has definitely toned down the interest so far. We would recommend a cat-free setting for her, just to be safe. No offense, kitties! <br/><br/>Luna would be better in a house with older kids that understand if you're playing too rough, or are too loud and rowdy, Luna will go into herding mode to try and keep the peace and order. This momma means business! No roughhousing on her watch! <br/><br/>Luna LOVES being with her people so be prepared for her to lay next to you all day long. She'll even wag her whole body when she sees you because she is just so excited that you're around! How cute! Plus, she'll give you sweet nuzzles with her head on the couch. If she takes a treat, she is so gentle about it, and now she "sits" to earn the goodies. She truly brings so much joy with her antics every day! <br/><br/>Since she's only been in the shelter for a few days, we're not sure if Luna's house-trained or has experience with leashes or crates, but this momma plans to master that next! After giving birth, there's nothing she can't do! Except maybe cartwheel. That's hard for a dog. <br/><br/>Luna has been a great mom to her 2 sweet pups, Artemis and Titan Daydream (also adoptable) and now deserves a home with all the cuddles and toys.
