The crying and activity associated with the baby caused Luna to bark, and her family ultimately decided they could no longer keep her. While that chapter of her life has closed.<br/><br/>Luna enjoys spending time with her people and is a wonderful walking companion. She does very well on walks and loves getting out to explore the world around her. Whether she's strolling through the neighborhood or simply hanging out with her people, Luna is happiest when she feels included.<br/><br/>As a herding breed, Luna has instincts that are important for potential adopters to understand. Herding dogs were bred to control movement and may sometimes use behaviors such as heel nipping when interacting with animals or occasionally people. <br/><br/>Because of these natural breed traits, Luna is not the ideal fit for every household, particularly those with young children. She will do best with adopters who appreciate the intelligence, energy, and instincts that make herding breeds so special.<br/><br/>Luna is a loving dog and she deserves a family that will cherish her, understand her breed characteristics, and provide the love and companionship she enjoys so much.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion and have experience with or appreciation for herding breeds, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family. <br/><br/>Luna will bark in her crate, so is not a good choice for apartment life.<br/><br/>See more about Luna on her foster Facebook page: New Leash Lodge<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $650<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net<br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age.
