Meet Luna
Hi, my name is Luna! I'm estimated to be a Retriever mix born around 12/2/2018. I came up to Wisconsin from San Antonio, Texas and weigh close to 45 pounds. I'm a good girl that has spent time in a foster home with older kids and other dogs. I can be slightly protective of my kennel so having a safe room for me in the home would be better than trying to crate train me. I walk well on a leash, enjoy car rides and love my family. Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!
My adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
