Luna Shepherd & Alaskan Malamute Mix Salem, MA

Luna is a gentle giant. She is an 8 year old Shepard Malamute mix and weighs 85lbs!

Luna is a simple girl that loves her tennis ball, walks, and company. She has lived with children, cats and dogs in the past. She craves human attention and will stay close by at all times. Luna does not use a crate and prefers to have full access to her home. She is very well behaved so it is safe to let her roam when no one is home.

Luna has many tricks up her sleeve and has shown her foster family that she is a pro and "sit" and "paw" (especially if a treat is involved). She is working on come and stay and making progress every day! She is fully housebroken and has not had a single accident in her foster home.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
