Luigi's Story

Luigi
2.5yr old Am Bully/Boxer mix

Luigi has re entered rescue through no fault of his own. He is quickly learning the rules and how to enjoy life again. While in foster care he has been working on his leash manners (which is going great), he is learning how to properly socialize with other dogs (also going great), and he is working on his impulses control and basic manners. Luigi has been good with other dogs even if he is a little bit socially awkward, and he loves people. He can be a little nervous meeting new people, but quickly becomes attached. He would do best in a home that has experience with bully type breeds and understands that training doesn't end as soon as they learn one command. These guys need to have continued training throughout life as they can be pretty stubborn and will test the boundaries. We are looking for a home with older dog savvy kids or no kids at all while he learns the rules of the home. He would not do well in a home with cats or small animals. Luigi is a little bit overweight so he is currently on a diet and trying to build more muscle. He would do best in an active home that can help him in his weight loss journey and get him back into shape. He enjoys the outdoors, loves going for walks, playing with friends, and being where the people are. Luigi is well versed in Parkour and would enjoy a family that would help him perfect his skills. He is crate trained, and mostly house trained. He would love a family that is not gone super long days as he does get lonely.

Luigi has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, heartworm tested, and treated with Simperica Trio.
