He would make a very nice companion in a home that isn't expecting wild puppy energy. After a bath or even a short walk in the rain - Luigi gets very animated for about 10 minutes- running and jumping. It's very cute! <br/><br/>It's nice having a dog in the apartment - he is very "low maintenance" and just watching him explore and settle into another dog bed is endearing. I have a soft spot for elders and Luigi with all of his old dog traits bumps, lumps and low energy is still a very nice friend. I think he appreciates being in a loving home where he can safely lay his head down.
