He is on monthly Heartgard (last given 3/10).

He currently eats Monge Monoprotein (LID) rabbit formula and is not picky — in fact, he is very food motivated, which makes training and bonding easy.

🌸 Personality
Louis is an exceptionally friendly, affectionate, and confident young dog. He approaches new people right away, leans in for pets, and will happily roll over for belly rubs. He is the type of dog who makes instant connections and is very easy to love.

At home, he is surprisingly calm and relaxed, spending most of his time resting (often on the bed). Outside, he becomes active and enthusiastic — a great balance for someone looking for both a companion and an adventure buddy.

👨‍👩‍👧 People & Social Behavior
Louis is extremely social with people and shows no fear of strangers. He has lived with an adult male and regularly greets visitors warmly.

With other dogs, he is generally social and appropriate. He gets along well with both large and small dogs, though he may occasionally vocalize toward a dog if there has been a previous negative interaction. Otherwise, he greets politely and moves on.

He shows little to no interest in cats, even when encountering them on walks.

🏠 Home Life & Routine
Louis is very easy to live with. He is non-destructive, does not guard, mount, or show any aggression, and does not demand attention through barking or whining.

He is 100% outdoor potty trained and has a stable routine that includes two daily walks (morning and evening, totaling about 1.5 hours). A few times a week, he also enjoys running freely at a dog playground.

Even on days with less activity, he remains well-behaved indoors — but regular exercise is important to meet his energy needs.

He can be left alone (up to 8–9 hours on weekdays) with no separation anxiety, and typically rests quietly while his person is away.

🚶 Walks & Activity
Louis loves walks, sniffing, and exploring. He may pull slightly on leash but is manageable. He observes other dogs calmly and is curious about people passing by.

He does not react strongly to loud noises like trucks and remains composed in most environments.

🚗 Car & Handling
He is excellent in the car — he jumps in on his own and rides calmly in the back seat.

He also tolerates grooming well, including baths and drying.

🧸 Play Style
Louis enjoys fetch and tug-of-war, but like many food-motivated dogs, he is just as happy engaging with people through treats and training.

📏 Measurements
Neck: 32 cm (12.5 in)
Chest: 48 cm (19 in)

🏡 Ideal Home
Louis would do best in a home that can provide regular walks, outdoor time, and engagement. He is adaptable and social, making him a great fit for a wide range of homes, including first-time dog owners.

💛 Adoption Fee: $650
Includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, veterinary exam before travel, international health certificate, and international transport from South Korea.

💬 Why Louis
Louis is the definition of an easy, well-rounded dog — affectionate, social, and balanced. He is calm at home, fun and active outside, and genuinely enjoys being around people. He is the kind of dog who fits into your life quickly and becomes part of your routine from day one.
