Lucy PB

Lucy came from an accidental hoarding situation in which her elderly owners had too many dogs to properly care for. She was used to coming and going through a doggie door and snuggling on the bed, vying for attention with 20+ other Shih Tsu mixed dogs. Lucy is alert and interested in new things but is also scared of new people/situations. She wants attention but will also run away when attempting to pick her up. She is not leash trained but goes potty outside with the fosters other dogs as a group. She is crate trained. Lucy is a cute little dog, taller than a typical Shih Tsu and appears to have miniature Schnauzer in her. She needs a quiet home where she can bond with her person and also with someone who will continue with her confidence building and leash training. Lucy is a flight risk so her adopter needs to take special care not to let her escape a yard. She’s so adorable and worth a little bit of work to get a small companion doggie. Lucy is fully vetted and has a microchip. She is located in San Antonio TX and we do not transport.
