Lucy's Story

Update: Lucy is in town and what a pretty girl. The pictures do not do her justice. Lucy is super sweet and gets along great with her foster doggy siblings. She is also learning quickly her house manners and wants to be with her people all of the time.

Hellooooo!!! Lucy Here! What would you like me to do.... chase a ball for you? Go for a walk? Snuggle and watch tv? They say I am a super nice and gentle girl and that I deserve a second chance. I was in what is called a high kill shelter and yesterday was my last day to live. Very lucky for me that some kind people worked quickly together to break me out and get me to a safe place. I am a very loving girl and good with other dogs. I like to give kisses and love attention. I am now spayed, up-to-date on my shots, weigh about 23 pounds and I'm micro chipped because I never want to get lost again once I find my forever home. If a forever home is with you, please fill out an adoption application at www.allmuttsmatter.org and the form is located under the 'Adoption Info' tab on the left. I sure hope to hear from you soon. Hugs and Kisses, Lucy Our adoption process is below:

1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;

2. All other applications that have been submitted for Lucy will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);

3. Schedule a home visit; and

4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for Lucy. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, I will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Lucy is $295.
