Our Mission

Our Mission Statement:

Our mission is to help dogs, especially senior dogs, who have been displaced either by an owner's sudden deployment, untimely death, illness, or other unfortunate situations. All of the dogs are fostered in private homes where they are nurtured, loved and cared for until adoptive families are found for them. If a new family cannot be found, they will live out their lives with All Mutts Matter. Our mission also includes educating the public regarding the importance of spaying/neutering their pets and responsible dog ownership. We are also dedicated to helping sick and elderly dogs know they are safe and loved.

All Mutts Matter Foundation is very pleased to announce that we have two new chapters! Please welcome All Mutts Matter Foundation, Inc. in Central Florida and North Central WV! We are very excited about what the new chapters will bring to the network of amazing volunteers, fosters, transporters, donors, sponsors, adoptive families, and shelters/rescues that we have already established ourselves with. Nothing is to change, except the areas that we can now hopefully make a difference in. We take great pride in our rescue work and our village that helps us achieve the things that what we do. Please take a look at our donate page for the addresses of these new chapters. Also you can email us at or with any questions about these new chapters. You can also send us a message on Facebook. We hope to broaden our foster and volunteer network in these areas soon, so please contact us for more information or fill out a foster or volunteer application located in the tab at the top of the page. Please join our team and effort of Let No True Heart Be Left Behind!

URGENT: Foster Homes Desperately Needed!!

Fostering a dog can ABSOLUTELY save two lives! AMMF has no shelter and is reliant upon a fostering network to provide temporary homes for our dogs. Fostering means welcoming either a senior, adult, or a puppy, into your home and providing them with love, care and learning to be a well-rounded family member. Our dogs are kept in foster care until a permanent perfect forever home is found. All Mutts Matter will provide you with supplies needed for the dog while in your care (ie. crate, medicine, vetting). A foster home is invaluable, because the foster family gains insight to the dog's personality to help better match them with the perfect home.

Adoption Policy

We at AMMF feel that each and every dog matters... no matter the breed or age.  We wish we could take into our rescue every dog out there in need, however, we can only take in a certain number of dogs that we have foster homes for.   One of our primary focuses is helping to save and find homes for dogs that are surrendered to our rescue due to illness, relocation, deployment or death.  AMMF receives several phone calls a day from people seeking help with rehoming their dog.  We perform temperament evaluations on each dog to determine whether the dog will is adoptable.

Each and every adoptable pup has been wormed, spayed/neutered, is current on vaccinations, heartworm medication, flea/tick prevention, and is microchipped.

To adopt from AMMF, an application is required to be filled out at, references are called and upon completion of the review of the application by an AMMF volunteer, a home visi
