Lucy's Story

Lucy was born January 3, 2026 and weighs 26 pounds in July, so will be medium size eventually. Extremely afftecionate and very active, she loves everybody and plays until she drops. She is a quick learner who needs to be involved with an active person, and she needs a lap to nap on, or at least a little rug by someone's chair. She loves to swim in water of any size. Fee $200. Adopters see our pets online and apply to meet ones they like. We check references, google names, and verify addresses online. We meet in person at our building in McConnelsville. We have a 2 week try out following adoptions with refund if the adopter decides to return the pet.

Our mission is to reduce the number of occupants in the Morgan County pound, first by providing spay/neuter to as many pets as we can regardless of owner's income, and second by rescuing pets in need and finding safe homes. We also keep pets and families together with an emergency pet food bank.
