Hi there! I’m Lucia, a 2-year-old, 40-pound Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful heart, a playful spirit and so much love just waiting to blossom! I’m an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who just needs a little help believing in herself. Sometimes the world can feel a bit overwhelming and I’m still learning that new experiences don’t have to be scary. But underneath my occasional uncertainty is a happy, loving girl who wants nothing more than to enjoy life and be part of a family. I may need a little encouragement along the way, but I promise I’m worth every bit of patience and love you give me!<br/><br/>One thing that really helps me shine is having another dog by my side! I absolutely love my canine friends and become so much more playful and confident when I have a buddy to show me the ropes. Because of that, I’ll need a home with at least one other friendly, confident dog who can help me continue building my confidence and remind me that the world is a wonderful place. I have a nice medium energy level and love to play, but I’m also a very easygoing girl who doesn’t need constant excitement to be happy. With a little patience, encouragement and a furry best friend to lean on, I know I’ll continue blossoming into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. Sometimes all it takes is having someone believe in you until you learn to believe in yourself!<br/><br/>I’m very dog friendly, people friendly and can be cat tested upon request! I’ll come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. My adoption also includes one month of FREE pet insurance plus a Fi Nano Mini GPS tracker with six months of tracking service ($20 activation fee)! I’m not asking for a perfect home, just a loving one with a canine companion who can help me feel brave and a family who will celebrate all my little victories. I have so much love to give and I can’t wait to find the people who will help me become my most confident, happiest self.
