Lt Dann Border Collie & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Rochester, NY

Lt Dann is up for adoption! What wants you to know about him. He was injured by a cow at about 4.5 wks old. He came to the rescue with a broken leg and spinal cord injury. Lt Dann was seen and cleared by neurology who said "His injury is what it is." "He won't get any worse and has no idea he is any different that any other dog". He would prefer a home with a stay at home person who understands his special needs. He will come with all his equipment including his wheels/cart. His favorite thing is to be outside and hiking or exploring. His wheels are all terrain and he can navigate many obstacles some with a little assistance and many he just uses a little extra upper body strength and is over it. He can navigate some stairs up and down with assistance in his wheels. He has control of his bladder and bowel. Now a little about him, if you have ever loved a Border Collie or Blue Heeler then you know the feisty determined personality they have. He does not like to be told no and will voice his opinions freely to you. Dedicated and loyal companion who loves to cuddle and snuggle with you.
