Lowry's Story

Meet Lowry -- a goofy, lovable boy with a heart full of gratitude and love to give.
He has overcome more than any dog should ever have to face, yet he greets each day with a happy spirit, an adorable personality, and a deep appreciation for the good life he has now.

Found tied to a pole on the side of the road during a torrential rainstorm, Lowry was rescued by a kind person and brought to safety. At the time, he was suffering from a skin condition and a medical issue that left him uncomfortable and in need of care.
His foster mom spotted him at the shelter looking sad and defeated, and knew she had to help. The moment Lowry left the shelter and entered his foster home, his true personality began to shine. He proved to be a sweet, affectionate companion who simply wanted to be loved.
Lowry's journey to recovery was a long one. He underwent multiple surgeries to correct a prolapsed urethra, but today he is fully healed per his vet and no further procedures will be needed.
He is finally able to enjoy being a carefree dog. Now he happily runs, plays, and embraces every opportunity to enjoy life.

This handsome boy is known for his goofy antics and the adorable grunts and happy noises he makes when he's content. He loves being close to his people and would happily spend his days by their side. Whether it's joining you for a walk, being your passenger on a car trip, or simply hanging out at home, Lowry is happiest when he's with his humans.

Lowry has done wonderfully with every dog he has met and truly enjoys canine companionship. Most of all, he is looking for a home where he will be cherished as a beloved family member.

After everything he has endured, Lowry deserves the happy ending he's waited so patiently for.
