Louie is pure love and looking for some humans to reciprocate all the love he has to offer! He’s potty trained, enjoys walks for a short time and once he’s tired he will sit down to let you know he’s tired. <br/><br/>He’s got a great personality and he’s super easy going - except for when he sees a crate. It’s seems one has offended him along the way so he will bark. At bedtime your best bet is letting him snuggle with you as that’s where he’s happiest. He follows you around as he likes to know where you are and what you’re doing. He got a bath and was very calm as he enjoyed the warm water and shampoo rubs. <br/><br/>He is confident, playful, goofy, adventurous, and very attached to his people. He loves being involved in whatever his humans are doing and is definitely a velcro dog.<br/><br/>Louie is good with kids and other dogs and greets new people and dogs with a happy wag.<br/><br/>He would do best with a family looking for a fun, affectionate companion who still has plenty of energy and personality. Your fee covers the significant costs of bringing them to safety. Your adoption fee covers: spay/neuter (if old enough), transport fees getting the dogs from Texas to our fosters homes here (that ALONE is $200-$230 per dog), core vaccines, heartworm test (If old enough), deworming, and microchip. <br/><br/>We partner with VCA Animal Hospitals. With every adoption comes a complimentary First Exam at any participating VCA location within the first 14 days of adoption. Follow-up Care Coverage: VCA provides limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) for specific minor illnesses (like kennel cough or ear infections) diagnosed during that initial 14-day window.<br/> <br/>We do not guarantee the breed of any of our dogs or how big they will be when they are fully grown. The breed listed is typically a guess based off of appearance or personality traits. We cannot guarantee that any dog is not mixed with pit. This is a standard part of adopting a dog from rescue. <br/><br/>We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.
