Meet young Louie! He’s a 46 lb., 8 month old, we are guessing shepherd-hound mix. He’s shy with people, however he lights up when he sees other dogs.
He was probably an outdoor puppy but he has learned to be indoors pretty darn fast! Louie is shy but playful, loves other dogs! Good with (but timid) with people (so older kids only) and completely ignores his foster’s cat, even when she tries to play with him.
Louie will require a fenced in yard, and another dog at his forever home to help build his confidence. We recommend puppy classes/obedience training for him as well.
Louie is neutered, UTD on vaccinations/preventatives, dewormed and microchipped.
Meet him in person at Save the Tails' weekly adoption events Sundays at DogGone Natural Leesburg VA 1-4pm, and the second and last Saturday of each month at DogGone Natural in Ashburn VA 12-3pm.
