Lou Lou Labrador Retriever Mix League City, TX

Hi, I’m Lou Lou, I’m pretty small for a lab weighing about 36 pounds and my estimated DOB is 12/15/2017. I was found as a stray in a very dangerous location near a busy highway so I am one lucky girl. I’m hoping my luck holds out and I’ll be able to find my forever home with a family that will take time to play with me and take me for walks. I also enjoy cuddling time on the couch. I really love companionship and would do great in a home with other dogs, and respectful children 10 years old or older. If the gate is left open I will go exploring and get out of the backyard so small children who may leave a door or gate open would not be a good match for me. I like cats but I’m very curious about them and they don’t like it when I get in their space so it’s best that my new family doesn’t have cats. I’m crated during the day while my foster is gone, but have free access to the house when she’s home. I haven’t had any accidents. I’m still young so will need lots of toys and maybe a pool to swim in and get some exercise. I’d love to learn new commands. I’m eager to please my human and I’m a quick learner. I walk nicely on a leash and my foster says I’m not too active, but I need a family that will spend plenty of time with me and give me the exercise a young lab needs. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
