Without proper outlets for their instincts, mental stimulation, and appropriate training, they can become bored, destructive, and creative in ways that will have you questioning every life choice you’ve ever made.

We’re talking landscaping projects you didn’t authorize, home renovations you didn’t request, and a puppy who has decided that your backyard is now his personal construction site.

And because Loki is already a talker, you can expect him to have some VERY strong opinions about how the whole operation should be run.

Loki’s Dream Home:

Someone with experience and knowledge of working or livestock guardian breeds.
A home that understands the needs and instincts of a Great Pyrenees.
Plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration, mental stimulation, and a meaningful job as he grows.
A family who enjoys an affectionate, people-oriented dog who wants to be involved in everything.
Someone who understands that barking is a natural part of the breed and is prepared to work on appropriate communication and boundaries.
A family committed to training, structure, and helping him grow into a well-adjusted adult.

Loki is still a baby, and he’s looking for someone who understands that the fluffy puppy stage is just the opening act of a very large, very opinionated, very capable dog.

If you’ve been dreaming of a beautiful, affectionate, outdoorsy companion who will love you deeply, follow you everywhere, and provide a running commentary on the neighborhood, Loki might just be your guy.

Just remember: You’re not adopting a giant teddy bear. You’re applying to be the assistant manager of a future livestock guardian.

And Loki would like to schedule a meeting to discuss his compensation package, preferably in the form of snacks and belly rubs.

Loki is ready to clock in. Are you?
