Meet LOCKET
Sweet gal who is 7 yr old with a great personality. She is only 13 lbs. She is not food aggressive but loves her space. Great with dogs bigger than her and non dominant little dogs. Loves to sleep on the bed with you but doesn't feel the kennel is a punishment. If you want someone special, this dog may be the one! She is a picky eater so will need canned mixed with dry or she loves moist and meaty!
She likes to run.. If you walk her and stroll she will go around you on her leash 60 times in 1/2 hour! Therefore, she needs to run with someone so she can get exercise!! But be careful! She won't want to walk back to the house but you will have to pick her up to bring her in.... you see she wants to keep going!
Make sure you watch your door, she will slip out to run run run up and down the street and the only way to catch her is to open your car door and invite her for a car ride which she loves! Locket is doing great with her house training!
She also loves to talk and complain.. tiny little grunts like sounds like a baby pig and will let you know when someone comes over! She gets sooooo excited it may be someone who will let her run with her!
Locket had knee surgery and is all healed up - she is getting around great these days! Her legs do NOT stop her from having a good run!!!
She is not good with cats.

WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER SO COME TO AN ADOPTION EVENT OR CALL THE FOSTER TO MEET THIS PET!

You can see most of our dogs on Saturdays from 11-3 at the following locations:
Apple Valley Petco on 42 & Cedar - every Saturday
Burnsville Petco on 42 and Aldrich - every Saturday
Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play. Also, Since preschoolers are more likely to be bit, we do not place dogs in homes where children under the age of 4 are present.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
Can you foster? By accepting a dog or puppies into your home temporarily and then participating in our adoption days to help find them homes, Last Hope can save more!
