Friendly, Protective, Affectionate, Smart, Loyal, Curious, Brave, Gentle, Loves kisses, Playful — Our sweet, gentle, blind girl Lilly is a survivor. She needs a home where she can be the only animal and an adopter that will give her the love and care that she needs. She is missing one eye, and the other one is completely blind as well, but that does not stop her from kissing everyone she meets! She is about 2-3 years old and ready for life’s next adventure!
As she waits to find her forever home, she is also in search of a foster home.
Lily is blind in one eye and the other is missing. She came to our rescue in this condition, and our vet presumed that it was a congenital issue. Other than a recent urinary tract infection, Lily is in good health to the best of our knowledge.
She is an indoor dog with the run of the house. Lily is not yet housebroken, but she is leash trained. Lily is an outgoing girl who is very loving! She gets along with men, women, teenagers, and younger children. Lily is not possessive with treats, toys, or food. She has never shown aggression and has no bite history. We'd like her to be an only pet in her new home since she’s shown some defensiveness towards other dogs. We believe it is due to the fact that, since she is blind, she cannot read other dogs’ body language to know their intentions. We feel she is a resilient pup and can adapt well to new situations and surroundings. We believe that with a patient and understanding family, she’ll be set up for success!
