Liberty is as cuddly as she is cute! She's an absolute delight who steals your heart with one look from those piercing blue eyes! She came to us after being surrendered to animal control due to her owner's sudden homelessness. At only 7 months old, this was the 2nd home she'd already lost and then found herself in a concrete run at animal control, horribly matted and a puppy just wishing for a stable future. We promised her a MUCH brighter forever!<br/><br/>Liberty is thriving in her foster home! She adores people and quickly bonds to her humans. An 11.5lb shadow is what you get...a perfect one at that. Liberty LOVES to cuddle. It's truly her love language, though you may find her in some silly napping positions! She's always down for a good game of fetch or tug of war. She loves to do zoomies in the yard and chase her tail. But give her your lap as an option and it's likely that will be her first choice! Liberty currently lives with two other larger dogs in her foster home and has buddied up with both of them. She would do well with another dog to play with. She also does well with kitties and tends to ignore them. Given her past, she's still remained and adaptable and trusting little lady and we adore her confidence!<br/><br/>Liberty did not have a lot of consistency in her previous home situations so she's still mastering potty training. Her foster mom has kept her on a set schedule and she's doing very well with that but will need continued help in learning to alert her humans when she needs to go out. She is also doing well with crate training and has not had any accidents in her crate. She currently sleeps in one of the teenager's rooms at night but is crated when the family is gone and settles in quickly! She is a smart girl and truly wants to learn. We know she will catch on to whatever routine her new family teaches her. She is going to make an amazing companion for the small dog loving family!<br/><br/>Liberty's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
