You should definitely get ready to jump into a life time of love with this sweet vivacious bee chaser. Lela is a 9 month old Boxer / Boston mix currently weighing 39 lbs. She is expected to remain a medium sized girl when full grown. Lela is already house and crate trained. She is very good on leash with few distractions...except bees. For what ever reason she loves to chase bees! Lela loves being with her people. She is great with other dogs and would be a a good family member in a home with older kids over 7 or 8. She is way too interested and curious about cats so in all fairness to kitties we just have to say no cats. Lela has a multi energy level. She's high spirited, active, and very playful outside but once she goes in the house she is a well mannered youngster. Lela does like to jump. She will jump on your lap lay her head on your shoulder and hold on to your arm. Needless to say she is quite the cuddle bug. Lela has been known to jump over a 4 ft chain link fence in pursuit of...a bee. She did not run away but be aware that she is capable of getting over a low fence. Supervision is highly recommended when allowed to play in a fenced in yard lower than at least 6 ft. Lela is wonderful when going for rides in the car so she would love to keep her family company on trips. Lela is very smart, eager to please and happy to learn. She is very responsive to correction and loves being praised when she gets something right. Lela is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. Lela is the whole package when looking for a forever family member, companion, and friend. She's beautiful and brainy as well as lots of fun and full of affection. She's ready to jump into a lifetime of love with the truly fortunate family who decides to make Lela a lifelong family member.
PUPPIES and YOUNG DOGS GROW INTO the expectations of their families through consistent love, caring and training. Puppies cannot be adopted to homes where they are left alone for more than 3-4 hours. Families with children must have established boundaries for both the puppy and the children.
