Legend has been doing well at his new foster over the past few weeks but it is time for him to graduate and find a home of his own.<br/><br/>Legend was originally found as a stray in Miami in horrible condition around the 4th of July. Once he was finally secured with Doberman Rescue League, Inc., he made it on the news during his hospital stay for a blood transfusion due to being dangerously anemic, and on top of that, emaciated with his skin suffering tremendously. The vet aged him at a year old.<br/><br/>He has since made quite the comeback (living up to his name ) and is doing phenomenally well. He has a clean bill of health now and is finally the happy, energetic young gentleman he was meant to be.<br/><br/>Legend loves absolutely everyone he meets and really enjoys the company of a female dog of any size. He bonded so closely to my Doberman on the first night he was here and the rescue would really prefer to place him with someone where he would have a sibling to interact with. He does not want to be an only child and would really thrive with a buddy.<br/><br/>He is not yet neutered but will be in a few months. He is also still working on his housebreaking though he is 100% crate trained.<br/><br/>Legend would make an excellent family dog as he’s good with kids of all ages. His only hard pass is cats and he will not be placed in a home with a cat. Must be a FL resident to adoptNot every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
