Layla Beagle Mix Albany, NY

Beagle? mix, female, 1½ years. Layla is one happy-go-lucky pup! Her mix is a true mystery but we think there might be some beagle in her. Layla came to us from a family with a 7 year old and a 4 year old and she really enjoyed their company. Layla is already housebroken and crate trained. She weighs about 29lbs and isn't expected to grow much bigger. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, but thinks cats are fun to chase and annoy! She does respect a dog saavy cat that will tell her no. Layla has been diagnosed with a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia. Her condition will not get worse and does not affect her daily life. When she is running at full speed, you’ll notice that she is a little crooked and when she is walking on a hard surface, you’ll hear her nails touching the floor as she moves her feet forward. She does stairs without a problem and, if allowed, she will hop on the couch to snuggle. Layla is currently living with 4 dogs and while she likes to play with them, she tends to seek the attention of her foster mom.
