Kristie is a cute yellow and white dog born July 2010 who has been dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, vet checked, microchipped, and given heartworm prevention. Kristie walks on a leash and is crate trained. She knows the sit and down commands. She's been taught not to jump on people and will respectfully wait for her handler to go through a gate or door ahead of her. She is submissive to human leadership and is motivated by treats and praise. Kristie should mature to about 55 pounds on a solid frame, making her a great size for many households. She loves doggie toys and rawhide treats. Her double coat is medium length with a downy undercoat and soft overcoat which is not prone to tangling. The undercoat will shed out in spring. Kristie lives peacefully with cats and other dogs at her foster home.. Kristie would love a home with another dog in a nondemanding, casual environment. Her energy level is average. A daily walk or romp in the yard and some belly rubs or petting will keep Kristie happy. She will be devoted to a doting owner who treats her kindly and provides the creature comforts of life. Kristie has been friendly to a toddler in her foster home.
