Kodiak (Avail: Feb 22) Great Pyrenees Kiowa, OK

Check out this handsome boy! Meet Kodiak! ?

"Kodiak is our little observer. He tends to hang back and watch everything that is going on. Once he has deemed everything good to go, he will happily pounce on one of his siblings and play. You can tell that this boy is smart and I swear he seems to have a "thinking face" on sometimes. He does have a more laid-back temperament compared to his siblings. He also seems to be a bit more independent."

Kodiak is a 6 week old male Great Pyrenees mix. He currently weighs about 10lbs. Our best guess is he will top out somewhere in the 80-90lb range.

-Kodiak has been with us since birth. His mom Varity came to us heavily pregnant. We are unsure of who his dad was. Varity's former owner believes it was a male Pyr mix who visits sometimes but doesn't know for sure.

-Kodiak is still a baby. This means his new family needs to be ready to potty train him, work with him on basic manners, and have a lot of time on their hands to help raise him.

-Kodiak will need proper socialization. His new family will need to expose him to a little bit of everything. Such as walks, car rides, public outings, visitors, other dogs, etc.

-Kodiak will not be ready to go home until February 22, give or take a couple of days. Anyone applying to adopt him needs to be able to bring him home close to that date.

-Kodiak is being fostered in Kiowa, OK. We do not send our dogs on transports or ship them. This means his new family needs to pick him up, even if they are out of state.

His adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots, bordetella, and rabies. He will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
