Kira currently has a broken foot that is well on it's way to being healed. She was surrendered in by her owner because the owner was not able to manage caring for her with this injury.<br/><br/>We believe she was stepped on by a larger dog.<br/><br/>Kira is housetrained with a doggie door. As w<br/><br/>ith any new dog in your home, she will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn her cues that she needs to go out. Sh<br/><br/>e is still young, so she is ready to learn even more!<br/><br/>Kira is being cared for by one of our volunteers, so please call ahead to make an appointment<br/><br/>to meet her.<br/><br/>All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter.
