Meet Keri

Kerri has made some major progress in the last month! She now comes when asked and loves hanging out with her canine companions. She's quite mischievous and LOVES her soft toys. She is often seen carrying around a squeaky toy and proudly showing it for all to see. Kerri is food motivated and with the right person will come out of her shell with time and patience. She's becoming less fearful every day.
.
5/27/20: Well they must be related haha! Kerri has also discovered the benefits of dog beds this morning!
.
Kerri came in to a shelter partner as part of a litter of feral puppies. Three of these dogs were unable to be placed locally which is when we were contacted. She has had very limited human interaction and will need a confident, patient partner going forward.
.
With time and patience we have no doubt Kerri will make an amazing companion for the right home. She will need another confident dog in the home to help teach her the ropes.
.
She will not be placed with kids or in an urban environment. She has been exposed to cats with no issues. We will post more information as we get to know her, so be sure to check back!

PLEASE READ our procedures for adoption prior to making inquiry regarding this dog. If you are looking for additional photos, video, or information on this dog, you will likely find that by searching our facebook page for their photo/description album.
.
Please see our main website at www.mabcr.org for more information regarding the adoption of this or any dog from our rescue.
.
Please note that while this dog is currently available, any dog on our site may have an adoption pending and may not be available to you at this time. The same dog may later become available if the adoption falls through.
.
Our website www.mabcr.org will give you details on our adoption procedures as well as an application for adoption. An application must be submitted prior to 'matching' an adopter with a dog as all dogs do not fit into all homes. We pride ourselves in our adoption process, we take the time to get to know our adopters so that we can place a dog with them that they can enjoy for years to come.
.
Please understand that we will not discuss dogs with individual adopters until after the application process is completed.
.
Our rescue does not have a public facility, therefore there are no visiting hours. Appointments to visit with the available dogs are made after the application process has been completed by our staff.
.
To assist any dog within the MABCR organization, please consider making a donation to the general fund or to the medical fund. All dogs coming into our rescue are fully vetted (s/n and core vaccines) prior to adoption.
.
Rescuing animals is quite expensive. If you are unable to adopt, but would like to help this, or any other animal in our system, please consider a sponsorship donation.
For information on our sponsorship program, please contact Sarah at SLR@mabcr.org.
.
Thank you for your interest in Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue.
