Kentucky's Story
Kentucky is a lucky hound dog. He was found emaciated and stray with a leg injury. A good Samaritan took him in and brought him back to health. He has a sweet personality and makes friends easily. He's calm and gentle and does not have much prey drive. He's housebroken and walks well on a leash, sleeps quietly in his crate, and plays well with other dogs. Kentucky arrived in Massachusetts with a slight limp which seems to be related to his injury. He has been to the vet for an exam and will have an orthopedic consult and possible surgery. He is currently available for adoption with the agreement that NECR will cover the costs of any needed treatments. Kentucky is 4-5 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. He is fostering and ready for visits on Cape Cod.

If you'd like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below.
Application link (please copy and paste into your browser's address bar)
https://ws.ishelters.com/application.php?k=coonhOUnd&t=Coonhound%20Adoption

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue.
