Meet our boy KENOBI!<br/><br/>*KENOBI IS BEING FOSTERED IN COLUMBIA, MD AND IS READY FOR A MEET & GREET WITH ANY POTENTIAL ADOPTER!***<br/><br/>Kenobi is 28 lbs and approx. 8 months old as of early June 2026. We think he is a mix of many breeds including Golden Retriever, Lab, Pekingese and more. Look at that adorable old man beard! He's a typical Puerto Rican Sato mutt! Our estimate on full grown weight is 35 lbs maximum based on current age and weight. He will not be a big dog at all and he's almost full grown at this point.<br/><br/>Kenobi is a sweet and calm dog! He is SUPER chill! If you are looking for a VERY calm puppy, Kenobi is your guy. He would love to sit with you while you work and be a work-from-home companion. He also would love to sunbathe outside with you while you have your morning coffee and simply enjoy the small moments in life.<br/><br/>Kenobi is good with kids, cats and all people. He is currently living with 2 adults and previously lived with adults and three children ages 12, 8 and 4 and was great with them all.<br/><br/>He is currently in a home with another dog (a larger pittie mix) and absolutely loves being with a dog! He would make an excellent companion for another pup and he himself would thrive with the canine companionship. Being with another pup on the walks gives him confidence (we noticed that he seems less distracted by extraneous noises while on walks with another dog and he follows that dog's lead).<br/><br/>He also LOVES his toys and play time! <br/><br/>He is 100% house trained and loves his crate. He will willingly get in the crate just to hang out with the door open. A trusted rescuer we work with had been feeding his mom in an empty lot next to her house. The rescuer had seen the mom pregnant and was anxiously awaiting the puppies to be born so she could get them to safety. The mom gave birth and took excellent care of her pups, keeping them hidden in the shrubs and tall grasses. After at least about a month, the rescuer was able to rescue them as they started wandering around and give them safety as she didn't want them to grow up to be street dogs or be hit by a car. She gave them so much love and fostered Kenobi until he flew to the U.S. mainland! <br/><br/>Kenobi is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.<br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about him!
