Keeley is an approximately 18 month old girl who was dumped at the local pound by previous owners just before Christmas. We don’t know the circumstances that led to her winding up at the pound but our shelter partners saw her and took her to a place where she was not at risk of euthanasia. What we do know is she is incredibly sweet. She is good with dogs, cats and people. She is learning what being a dog is all about as she had very clearly never seen a leash before in her life and was terrified of the thing around her neck. Day by day she gets more used to walking on leash. Her previous owners never bothered to give her monthly prevention for Heartworm disease so she was positive, but has been treated prior to arriving in Minnesota. She will still require a few weeks of low key activity to allow her body to heal. She is looking for a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play, and someone willing to help continue her leash training. She arrives to Minnesota on 1/23 and is looking for an adopter to pick her up that day. All adoptions have a two week trial!

Requirements: Fenced Yard

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
