Meet Kas!<br/><br/>Kas is a sweet little 5-year-old, 15-pound guy who appears to be a dachshund/mini poodle mix — basically the perfect pint-sized companion with an even bigger personality.<br/><br/>Kas is incredibly people-oriented and happiest when he’s close to his person. If there’s a spot next to you on the couch, he’s taking it. If there’s a cozy blanket nearby, he’s probably burrowing underneath it. He absolutely loves affection, cuddling, and simply being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s the kind of dog who would happily follow you from room to room before settling in beside you for a nap.<br/><br/>Because Kas loves being near his people so much, he’d likely be happiest in a home where someone works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is around often. He isn’t asking for much — just a comfy place to curl up and a person to call his own.<br/><br/>He’s also making impressive progress on leash and has already shown a big improvement in his walking manners. He’s eager to learn, responsive, and starting to get the hang of his new routine.<br/><br/>Kas is affectionate, cozy, and ready to settle into a home where he can perfect his role as someone’s tiny shadow.
